Title: MS SQL Developer
Location: Jersey City NJ/Plano TX
Role Overview (Database Programmer)
Team is working on and implementing innovative solutions to improve forecasting processes and support operational excellence.
This role will be responsible for working closely with the technical leads and Product Owners to deliver support data, analytics and reporting functionalities
This right candidate will be responsible for hands-on application development to support the current and target process across the SDLC – design, build, test, deploy support.
Required Skills and Experience we are Looking For:
- •Significant experience in Microsoft SQL database programming and development is a must.
- •Must have 10+ years in building Reporting Analysis modules using Data Mart, SSAS CUBE, SSRS,etc.
- •Significant development integration experience in Microsoft database modules like SSRS, SSIS, SSAS, CUBE (Star Schema)
- •Experience in migrating SQL sequential code modules over to SSIS, Informatica or similar data-pipeline software
- •Significant development integration experience in triggering execution mechanism such as Autosys batch programming
- •Significant experience in data normalization, denormalization, compression techniques to optimize data-size and performance.
- •Significant experience in designing and optimizing data flows across multiple ETL processes.
- •Strong development experience in end to end CI/CD pipeline tools such as Ansible, bitbucket, Jenkins, Datical Radical
- •Strong experience is database optimization techniques using indexes, partitioning, stats refresh management, memory/CPU utilization analysis.
- •Preferred experience in integration with Big data technologies like Spark and Hadoop Desired Skills and Experience we are Looking For: ·Experience is upgrading regression testing database versions
- •BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or any quantitative discipline
- •Experience working with agile methodologies
